Last night my kickball league had the mid-season party. The theme was superhero and villans. I went as Aeon Flux, not quite good and not really bad either. I attempted to make my hair black using some temp hair dye, but if you know me then you know I have a lot of hair…I ran out of the spray way too quick so I just had a black dusting (ah well). My friends and team mates, Tony and Michele, brought along a bag full of misc things, hats and capes etc, so most of the team was wearing something. We lost both games (I know, big surprise), but we always have a good time. The 2 teams we played were really nice too. Those double-header nights are not the best, we’re all too “mature” for that much running around. After our games we played Flip Cup, the offical game of WAKA Kickball. It’s a drinking game of course, put the drink of your choice in your cup up to a certain level, then 5 players from each team compete…drink, then you have to put your cup on the edge of a table and flip it upside down, then the next person goes etc…it’s a timed race. We almost won them, but no, lost those too On the upside though, we left the night with a brand new WAKA kickball for our team, we won it for the team with Most Effort, yep, the small bus award…heck, we’ll take it!
