A few things…
First of all, I recently purchased the new Lean Cuisine panini sandwiches. I have to say that these are some of the best tasting microwavable sandwiches I’ve ever had and they are lean…whoo hoo! They are not too expensive either if you get them at Costco or a similar place. Yummy.
Rick and I went to Vegas last weekend, this was our second trip in a row. Boy, traveling sure makes you tired. Anyway, some friends joined us and we all had a good time. We went to the old Vegas strip and had some food, took some pictures and watched the big light presentation. Then we went back to the main strip and ended up at an out door bar that had a live band playing called, The Crashers. They were pretty good I thought. They had 2-3 singers so they had a huge selections of songs they could sing. So we danced the night away and spent the entire next day recovering. Good times!
We stayed at our timeshare, Wyndham Grand Desert. We usually love to stay here, but this trip wasn’t as good as the past ones we’ve had. First of all when we got to our room, we didn’t have a coffee maker…this is a huge no-no for us since we love coffee. I called and they got us one within 30 minutes, but still, good thing I noticed. Then we had signed up to do our “Update” or that’s what they call it. It’s basically just a sales pitch that you have to sit through for an hour to get $50. We had also gone the previous weekend and this would later become an issue. We had disclosed this, but they still insisted on having us go. Anyway, we got our reminder call in the morning to attend it and then when we arrived, they told us we couldn’t do it again, just as we had figured. We had friends with us so we said, okay, so you don’t want to talk to us or our friends then… well, ummm, well, ummm, that is not the correct way and well, ummm, etc. Eventually, they figured out what the hell they were doing and got someone over to talk to us…3 hours, yes 3 fricking hours later we were out of there with our $50… not worth it at all. The presentation is usually only 1 hour long so clearly they still didn’t know what to do with us. So, we won’t be doing that again. I do love timeshares though, but if you want to buy one, get it on eBay.
Then finally, the Patriot’s are in this years Superbowl. I don’t really follow football, but I think it’s pretty cool that there are 2 New England teams playing this year (Although, apparently New York’ers don’t consider themselves New Englanders…at least when it comes to sports LOL). Also the Superbowl is in Arizona this year so that’s cool too. So, go Patriot’s, kick Giant butt!
