Weekend Update

Last Thursday I met Rick’s cousin Dan Berry. Rick hadn’t seen him for about 15 years, Dan moved away. Rick took half a day off work to spend time with him which was nice. We all went out for dinner and then went to CCW for a glass of wine. From what I got to know of him, he’s a nice guy. Dan has friends that live out here too so maybe he’ll visit more often.
On Friday we had a guitar lesson planned, but it fell through at the last minute so we went to CCW for the tasting instead. We had Bonny Doon wines. They were all good, but I didn’t think any were excellent. We bought a bottle anyway though. After the tasting a bunch of us decided to go to a bar to listen to some music. I was the DD so I didn’t drink much. We ended up going to another bar in the same complex, a biker bar, to end the night. This is our friend Amy’s local place. Amy begged me to dance on the pole with her so I did. It was my first time working the pole too…some guy gave me $5 so I guess I did okay…lol. It was fun and it helped to loosen up the other people too because after that the pole was busy all night.
On Saturday, Rick and I were up by 930. Our friend John spent the night because he had too much to drink. We all went out for breakfast at the 5 & Diner, yum. Later that day our friend Clifton met up with us and we all went shooting. It was fun, but I always get a bruise on my arm by my armpit. John said they have pads to wear to prevent that from happening, I should get one. That night John rode his bike over to our place and we all went to the Pavillions in Scottsdale for the regular car show. It was a nice night to ride so there were a bunch of bikes there too. We went to Mongolian BBQ for dinner, mmm.
Sunday was our lazy day. We went out for pizza, went to CCW to check out the wireless internet connection and ran some errands. The rest of the day we stayed in, did some laundry and watched some movies.
