Vacation Prep

Rick and I are about to embark on the first REAL vacation we’ve had for a long time. We’re going out of the country and needed to get our passports; Dominican Republic here we come! I’ve talked to one person who has been there and she said it was beautiful, unfortunately, the weather forecast is calling for rain every day, but the temps will still be warm. I’m not too let down by this, I’m sure we can still have an awesome time. I told Rick he’ll have to get a picture of me tanning on the beach in the rain… he he he. Anyway, I’ve been making a list of things to bring for a while now and yesterday I went and got my very first bikini wax… YOWZA! It was a bit painful, but I delt with it (It was a bit off center too, oh well, I wasn’t ready for the touch ups so I’ll deal with that on my own). I was planning on returning without any tan lines (wink wink), but now I guess that will depend on if the sun ever shines. A friend will be house/pet sitting for us so that’ll bring peace of mind while we’re gone. Normally if we go on a trip when we get back our pets are attention deprived and pissed that we were gone, hopefully that won’t happen this time. I’m sure we’ll have a lot of pics that I’ll share when we get back too.
